Our community was pretty pumped about creating artwork for this legendary band. Over 200 designers submitted almost 400 designs to this contest.
Fans from the Creative Allies community and fans of the band were all interested in finding out what this contest was about, with contest views reaching over 300,000.

In addition to the cash presented to the Grand Prize winner, this contest boasted two weekly winners that received handwritten song lyrics to their favorite Megadeth song.
Celebrating 35 Years Of Megadeth
Thrash-metal pioneers, MEGADETH burst onto the scene 35 years ago and are partnering with Creative Allies to celebrate with an exclusive commemorative poster. The Creative Allies community designed a poster themed around the band’s mascot, Vic Rattlehead.
With hits like “Wake Up Dead”, “A Tout Le Monde’’, “Symphony of Destruction” and of course, “Holy Wars … The Punishment Due”, the music of MEGADETH is filled with organized chaos and sounds of beautiful destruction. The submissions for this contest did not disappoint in representing the brand’s legacy.
This campaign was part of our rockin’ summer contest series with Universal Records – we completed campaigns for both Rob Zombie and Guns N’ Roses.
Creative Allies provides an opportunity of a lifetime for artists to create original work for the favorite brands and bands. Cash prizes are always great, but what our creators love most is the one of a kind prizes that few people will ever receive.
For this contest, the band identified two weekly winners that both received hand-written song lyrics to a Megadeth song of their choice. And…drum roll please…the Grand Prize Winner received a signed guitar from the band in addition to the cash prize.
